Got to see Ron briefly over the holiday. Drank some coffee, and bantered about art and his well-groomed mustache.You are a piece of work! he told me several times.
One of my quiet pleasures is discussing with him the immense joy of a small cup of coffee. Since I have known him, over the past three years, I have not known him to ever turn down a cuppa joe. Morning, noon, night, the offer always brings a smile to his eyes.
It was good to see him.
I would love to get in contact with Ron. He was my good friend years ago in San Jose until he and Gina moved back to his home area. We worked together in Woodside and went to San Francisco to try and get into galleries there. What a great friend he was ! Tell him Marge Grotting asked about him !
